Fleet Recognition

When you're doing what's right, you get noticed. Doing the right thing isn't always easy. That's why we wanted to make sure we recognized fleets that went the extra mile to reduce petroleum and improve the air all North Texans breathe.

How Does My Fleet Get Recognized?

Each fleet can earn up to 100 points, based on information reported in the annual survey and knowledge that Coalition staff have of fleet activities/initiatives. See the table below our scoring committee used to determine fleet scores.

2020 Award Levels:

Gold: 59 - 100

Silver: 48 - 58

Bronze: 40 - 47

Shining Star Awards are given to fleets who demonstrate the greatest progress in specific areas that Coalition staff would like to recognize. Shining Stars are awarded based upon information reported in the annual survey and staff knowledge of fleet activities/initiatives. Each category has two winners. One based on greatest total progress and the other based on the percentage improvement from the previous year.

To be recognized, fleets must complete the annual survey and have adopted the Clean Fleet Policy. Recognized fleets typically excel in multiple fleet efficiency areas surveyed. One of the easiest places to lose points is to simply forgo answering certain questions and leaving sections blank when completing the annual survey.

Recognized fleets receive an award, stickers for their vehicles, electronic versions of sticker graphics for the web, and a paper weight (gold only).

Congratulations to the 2020 Fleet Recognition Award Winners!
