About the Event
Join the North Central Texas Council of Governments (NCTCOG) for an informational session on the ~$58 million award for the purchase of Class 6 and 7 zero-emission vehicles (ZEV) through the North Texas Zero Emissions Vehicles (NTxZEV) Call for Projects (CFP). The NTxZEV CFP is expected to launch in Fall 2025. The session is open to public agencies, local governments, fleet operators, private companies, original equipment manufacturers, dealers, nonprofits, and advocacy groups. Organizations are strongly encouraged to attend in-person if able to best facilitate conversation.
This meeting will include:
Overview of the EPA rules governing the opportunity
Feedback on how best to structure the Call for Projects
Rebate funding will be made available to public and private fleets to replace older, internal combustion engine (ICE) Class 6 and 7 vocational vehicles (e.g., box/straight trucks, refuse haulers, step vans, transit buses, street sweepers, septic or bucket trucks) with battery-electric or hydrogen fuel cell vehicles.
