NEVI Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

DFWCC welcomes you to an open roundtable to discuss the National Electric Vehicle Implementation Plan (NEVI) Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. Come prepared to speak with your peers on suggestions and comments on the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking. Through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, each state is required to submit a statewide infrastructure plan in order to be eligible to receive part of the 5 billion funding program set aside for the NEVI program. The state of Texas is set to receive $408 million to be spent on charging infrastructure over the next 5 years. This Notice of Proposed Rulemaking is provided from the Federal Highway Administration to establish regulations that would set minimum standards and requirements for projects funded under the NEVI program. This public input opportunity will be the main chance to get your input and feedback on the Notice of Proposed Rulemaking.
