Gallons of Petroleum Reduced
Per the Department of Energy, DFWCC has a goal of increasing its petroleum reduction by 16 percent each year and its greenhouse gas reductions by 20 percent each year. Through annual fleet surveys, we help track that progress thanks to the participation of fleets in the area that do their part to reduce their fuel consumption and emissions. The coalition is often called upon to provide data on the number and type of alternative fuels and clean technology vehicles in the Metroplex to help provide validity to air quality commitments in the State’s air quality plan.
Submitting an Annual Survey not only demonstrates a fleet’s commitment to cleaner air, but also makes them eligible for the coalition’s Fleet Recognition Awards. See below for copies of our full Coalition Annual Report:
